From City
Gembrook is
located about 60km east of Melbourne's CBD.
Usual direct travel time is about one hour.
The fastest route from the city is to take
the Monash Freeway M1 (a tollway) to
Pakenham. Take the first Pakenham off-ramp
and then turn right on the old Princes
Highway. Proceed toward Pakenham and take a
signposted left turn along the Pakenham -
Gembrook road. A more suburban but slower
route would be Toorak Rd - Burwood Highway -
Belgrave - Emerald - Cockatoo - Gembrook. A
more scenic route would be to take the
Monash Freeway M1 to Mulgrave. Turn left
signposted Wellington Road. Continue to end
roundabout at Clematis pub. Turn right to
Emerald - Cockatoo - Gembrook.
