Arriving by Car

From City

Gembrook is located about 60km east of Melbourne's CBD. Usual direct travel time is about one hour. The fastest route from the city is to take the Monash Freeway M1 (a tollway) to Pakenham. Take the first Pakenham off-ramp and then turn right on the old Princes Highway. Proceed toward Pakenham and take a signposted left turn along the Pakenham - Gembrook road. A more suburban but slower route would be Toorak Rd - Burwood Highway - Belgrave - Emerald - Cockatoo - Gembrook. A more scenic route would be to take the Monash Freeway M1 to Mulgrave. Turn left signposted Wellington Road. Continue to end roundabout at Clematis pub. Turn right to Emerald - Cockatoo - Gembrook.

From East Gippsland

Travel Princes Highway towards Melbourne. Take the first Pakenham exit ramp off the freeway and proceed toward Pakenham. Turn right at Army Rd and continue to the end at a T-intersection. Turn right and follow Pakenham- Gembrook Road (turn right at the next roundabout).

From Dandenong Ranges

Depart Belgrave. Follow Emerald signposts via Selby and Clematis. Continue through Emerald and fork left to Gembrook at Cockatoo.

From Yarra Valley

Take Maroondah Highway towards Melbourne. Just before Lilydale take a left turn onto the Warburton Hioghway. Pass through Seville. At Woori Yallock turn right onto the Healesville/Koo Wee Rup road. At Cockatoo turn left at the roundabout and shortly fork left at the Gembrook signpost.

From Healesville

Take Maroondah Highway towards Melbourne. Turn left onto the Healesville/Koo Wee Rup road to Woori Yallock. Turn left and immediately right across Warburton Highway towards Cockatoo. At the Cockatoo roundabout turn left then shortly fork left at the Gembrook signpost.
